Post Title: Health Care System Expert
Job assignment: In-depth analysis of the Health Care system in Lebanon, in terms of services provided, systemic barriers and identified bottlenecks preventing the most marginalized children and women to access health services
Type of contract: Temporary Appointment (TA)
Level and duration: NO-C level, initial appointment for 6 months
Requirements:
• Masters or PhD degree in health policy planning, public health system management, public finance, economics, social sciences, development policies.
• At least five years of professional work experience in health policy design, health sector management and reform.
• In-depth knowledge of system-wide challenges influencing the shape of the health sector and its performance in Lebanon.
• Professional work experience with UN or other international development organizations an asset.
• Experience with programmes assisting the Palestinian population in Lebanon an asset.
• Fluency in Arabic and English (both spoken and written); French an asset.
