UNICEF LEBANON
Post Title: Education system Expert
Job assignment: In-depth analysis of the Education system in Lebanon, in terms of services provided, systemic barriers and identified bottlenecks preventing the most marginalized children to access quality education services
Type of contract: Temporary Appointment (TA)
Level and duration: NO-C level, initial appointment for 6 months
Requirements:
• Masters or PhD degree in education policy planning, education sector management, public finance, economics, social sciences, development policies.
• At least five years of professional work experience in education sector management and reform.
• In-depth knowledge of system-wide challenges influencing the shape of the education sector and its performance in Lebanon.
• Professional work experience with UN or other international development organizations an asset.
• Experience with programmes assisting the Palestinian population in Lebanon an asset.
• Fluency in Arabic and English (both spoken and written); French an asset.
