The position is responsible for the development, coordination; implementation and administration of QF long and short term Recruitment & Selection. Develop and implement hiring arrangements to enable the organization achieve constant deployment of workforce through established channels and internal and international employment campaigns.
Key Result Areas:
The Recruitment Specialists will be responsible for the recruitment process for QF, its existing centres in addition to the new centres. The QFHQ and the centres will be distributed evenly and as per speciality among the Recruitment Specialists. i.e. One specialist will be responsible for the recruitment of QFHQ, the other will be handling the Education Sector and the third will be responsible for the Community Sector. Other sectors/centres will be assigned as per the work requirements and load. The main tasks for the specialists will be as follows:
• Receive CV’s from the Recruitment Planning Section, screen and filter the CVs in a professional manner.
• Contact candidates to check their availability and interest.
• Conduct the initial interview on the phone
• Supervise and implement the English and Computer testing program to ensure that the required standard is met.
• Forward the CVs of shortlisted applicants to the requesting directorate/departments with a summary of skills, experience and qualifications
• Follow up on the progress of the CVs
• Attend and conduct local and overseas interviews with the departments
• Provide assistance in regard to the best and most effective ways and methods of conducting the interviews
• Supervise the implementation of the interview, reporting and employment process to meet the recruitment plan.
• Issue job offers to candidates after receiving the official acceptance from the departments. The job offers are issued based on approved and relevant salary scales, previous experience, qualifications and existing staff in the department/directorate on the same grade.
• Oversee the formalities in regard to visas, CID Clearance, airline tickets, medical checkups, accommodation, air tickets, transport, welcome pack, and creating staff numbers on the ERP.
• Implement and supervise the Reference Check process to support hiring decisions.
• Supervise and implement the mobilization process and initial induction of new hires.
• Supervise the recording, documentation and reporting on the statistics in regard to the hiring process.
• Send thank you emails for those who weren’t selected and keep track of the result of the interview on the database for future reference.
• Keep track of the above activities and ensure follow up is maintained until cases are closed.
• Any other tasks assigned by the Head of Recruitment Operations
