To find and deliver a purchasing solution for all products and services needs of the company by planning and executing the complete procurement cycle from both local and overseas market; ensuring that end user requirements are met in terms of time lines, cost, quality, specifications in line with company’s policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare and update the procurement plan for projects and operational supplies and services, from time to time.
• Evaluate, select, monitor and communicate with vendors
• Participate exhibition and product launches to study more about vendor
• Involve in execution of LPOs, orders, work orders, SLAs, and contracts on a case to case basis and from time to time, as and when the need arises.
• Monitor execution of LPOs, orders, work orders, SLAs, and contracts through the Purchasing Agent
• Generation of reports on purchased products and services, spending analysis etc to the management
• Reporting nontraditional spending on tickets, hotel and utility expenses
• 3-5 years experience in similar functions preferably in an academic environment
• Experience in working with ERP and various other inventory tools is preferred
• Proficiency in Excel and other MS Office applications
• Good negotiation skills with analytical and problem solving skills.
• Excellent English language skills; both verbal and written.
• Knowledge of Arabic is an asset

Education
• Bachelors degree from an accredited institution, preferably specialized in commerce or economics
