HR ADMINISTRATOR - Dubai - UAE

This is a long-term temporary assignment, from September 2011 until the end of March 2012 and provides a great opportunity for somebody looking for an interesting and busy environment.
Working with a global company in the leisure industry and reporting to the Regional HR Manager who is based in Dubai, you will have an important role to play in the smooth functioning of the company.
The position requires involvement in the following tasks:
• managing both the manual and electronic administrative processes;
• overseeing the visa and labour card process for new employees and their renewal;
• updating the HR Oracle database;
• supporting the HR audit;
• managing the medical and life policy administration;
• providing support for the recruitment process;
• developing a strong relationship with the European HR team and liaising with this team on a daily basis;
• preparation of letters and HR documentation in both English and Arabic as required;
• maintenance of employee files, both soft and hard copy;
• acting as the first point of contact for general employee enquiries;
• involvement in ad hoc projects as directed by the Regional HR Manager; To be considered for this position, you should be educated to degree standard, ideally in Human Resources or Business Administration.
Excellent communication skills in both English and Arabic are required and you must also be able to use MS Word in both languages. Flexibility, willingness to learn, the ability to work under your own initiative and very good attention to detail are all essential attributes.
