Minimum Qualifications:
University degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

Job-Specific Skills:
Detailed and expert process knowledge power dispatch operations.
Sound understanding of all relevant plant and equipment.
Understanding of plant capability.
Sound understanding of preventative/predictive maintenance techniques and practices.
Sound understanding of Marafiq’s vision, mission and strategic objectives.
Sound understanding of Department strategic planning processes.
Excellent knowledge of the utilities sector across the region and internationally.
Excellent understanding of the department business Processes drivers and how they add value to the business.

Minimum Experience:
6 - 8 years’ relevant operational or maintenance experience in a heavy industrial environment.
3 - 5 years experience of power dispatch operations.
Previous power generation experience is an advantage.
Previous supervisory/man-management experience.
