Notice for a Regulatory Impact Analysis (RIA) Consultants
Booz Allen Hamilton is recruiting Regulatory Impact Analysis (RIA) Consultants fort lie US AID-funded Support for Lebanon's Accession to the World Trade Organization (WTO) Project.
Scope of Work
The RIA consultants will assist the RIA trainer in preparing a cost benefit analysis for specific decisions/regulations, analyzing their economic impact and benefit. The consultants will engage in research, data collection, report writing, and other related work as directed by the RIA trainer. The RIA Consultants will beassigned to one or more Working Groups. The RIA trainer will supervise the RIA consultants in carrying out the tasks above. 1 he RIA consultants are expected to be available to meet with the working groups at least twice per month during or after normal working hours and to prepare assignments between the working group meetings as determined by the RIA trainer. The RI Aconsultants will work under the leadership of" the project's RIA Trainer a tid will report to the Chief of Party.
Qualifications: Master's degree in Economics, Business, Law, Statistics, or related field. Directly relevant experience can be substituted for a Master's degree if thecandidatc has a BA. At least 10 years experience in business, law-, or as a government regulator.
This is a part time position, expected at about 25 days for three months initially, with the possibility of extending for another three- six months.
