In this role you will have the following responsibilities :

• Developing sustainable building design on numerous major projects including commercial, residential, tall tower and mixed-use developments
• Preparing & verifying designs and converting them to site worthy shop drawings
• Highlighting and clarifying discrepancies with the clients/designers in coordination with the superiors
• Coordinating with different services and ensuring compliance to standards and local regulations
• Leading , training and motivating team members to maximise quality
• Identifying and building up a multi skilled technical team
• Managing work of other engineers and drafters to meet project and client requirements

To be successful in winning this role, the following are the prerequisites:

• Must have a degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Must be an engineer with a detailed knowledge of mechanical systems 
• Must have extensive experience as a Mechanical Engineer in GCC / Gulf region
• Must be proficient in the design of sustainable mechanical systems including air cooled as well as water cooled central plants
• Must have experience in using computer design tools such as Revit MEP and IES is essential
• Must have experience in managing team of engineers & drafter
