1.Assist management: Contributing to: maintaining, implementing and improving the Occupational Environmental, Health and Safety Management System. Advises Management on corrective actions required.
2.Maintain standards of safety and Health to comply with OHSAS18001 Requirements; leads audits program and verifies compliance.
3.To maintain a safe and productive working environment by conducting appropriate safety, corrective action, job
Hazard Analysis, and environmental inspections on a regular basis.
4.Ensures that all organizational specific HSE risks are identified, assessed and that appropriate risk management plans are implemented.
5.Ensures that all accidents are properly notified, investigated, reviewed and followed up, when appropriate, in accordance with Company policies.
6.Ensures that adequate HSE training is provided to all Personnel.
7.To advise all project personnel and subcontractors regarding safe working practices and to develop safety
Consciousness.
8.To ensure that every employee is informed and trained to perform their job in a productive and safe way in accordance
With Company policies & procedures.
9.To ensure that authorized programs of accident prevention and emergency evacuation are in place.
10.To continuously provide specialist advice & education on safety matters to all project personnel.
11.To promote a positive HSE attitude amongst project employees using an authorized scheme of incentives and
Deterrents.
12.Take reasonable care of own health and safety and that of others in the workplace.
13.Keeps record safety performance indicators.
Skills
•Minimum 5 years of experience oil/gas sector as HSE manager.
•Must have excellent knowledge of OHSAS 18001 and ISO 9000 standards.
•Knowledge in scaffolding, Abrasive blasting and painting works.
•Must possess excellent leadership skills and personality.
• Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Organizational skills required.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong leadership and teamwork.
• Have excellent problem solving skills
• Must be a critical thinker
• Must be a good monitor
• Proactive and dynamic
•OHSAS18001 LEAD Auditor Course (Preferable)
•ISO 9001 Certified Internal Auditor
