Age : 30 to 45 Years

Desired Qualification:
Master’s Degree with a relevant technical/functional qualification (e.g. Food technology/Microbiology/Chemistry).

Desired Experience:
- 8-10 years of functional experience in reputed companies in food industry
- Knowledge of production processes and materials relevant to the wet condiments business.
- Knowledge of GCC/Levant and African food related laws
- Demonstrated knowledge, ownership and implementation of Quality Management System/processes and related systems
- Demonstrated leadership in leading others
- Arabic speaking.

The Quality Manager is responsible for all Quality and food safety related activities of the company.

You ensure the company’s products are of the targeted quality and safety by an effective implementation of a QA and QC based system. Our products arrive at the customer’s location in perfect order by your contribution to the understanding of quality and safety throughout the organisation. In addition to that you are responsible for implementation, enhancement and updating standard and customer specific quality systems. In addition to that you ensure all legal standards regarding quality and safety are met.

The function entails following the quality of the product during its life. Therefore you make sure the product is being followed during its technical shelf life and take corrective measures if needed.

You monitor the number of incidents and customers complaints. In case of such issues you will take a proactive approach to find out root causes and initiates improvements effectively in order to prevent issues from escalating in future. You ensure enquiries and customer complaints are being followed up in a pace which suits are clientele. Part of your routine is to evaluate where improvements to cost versus quality can be made.

You and your team are involved in keeping the prerequisite systems up to date eg supplier evaluation. Training of your own staff as well as the employees in the various others functions in the company helps you achieving and locking the goal.
