The Manufacturing Manager has the delegated authority to plan, direct and manage the production, maintenance
& quality; providing the focus and leadership that will build and develop an effective team to maintain safety, quality
and production standards on both the Can Making and Easy Open end plants.
Coordinate the activities of Can Making and Easy Open End plants functions to ensure the effective utilization
of resources, plant, maintenance, material and people.
Achievement of production plan to highest quality standards at a minimum cost, specifically to motivate employees
towards higher quality levels of finished products.
Continually review plants operation and efficiency; ensuring modification to equipment /systems are in
accordance with QMS standards including safety standards.
Continually strive for improvements in material utilization and reduction of spoilage.
Introduction of cost reduction /continuous improvement programs /processes.
Promotion of stable interpersonal relations climate by active involvement in people aspects of business.
Involvement in the preparation of yearly budgets and subsequent actions to achieve budgets and company targets.
Coordination with the Head Office departments in order to keep costs low (purchasing, new products, inventory levels)
and to satisfy customer requirements (quality, shipments and production schedules).
Develop, implement and maintain suitable consultative and communicative process for all employees.
Install an maintain continuous improvement programs /processes.
To ensure that all production is consistent with established requirements in respect of structure and cleanliness.
Temporary act as the Acting Plants Manager in absence of the Plants Manager and whenever necessary.
To carry out any task deemed necessary when asked by higher authority for the benefit of the business.
