L2 / L3 HP Onsite Network Engineer - Ebttikar Tech - Saudi Arabia

Responsibilities:
o Troubleshoot both Juniper and HP’s devices using CLIs
o Analyze the data network design and identify any potential configuration mismatches, or discrepancies between the design and the actual implementation
o Gather information necessary to present to L3 engineers to facilitate future troubleshooting
o Perform escalation processes to L3 engineer
o Reports actively in an existing network team.
o Provides technical support in problem resolution on in new project implementations.
o Work in day-to-day activities as a team member.
o Successfully handle the assigned tasks.
o Participates in architecting an appropriate technical solution to meet the customer’s business requirements.
o Investigates and optimize solution’s fit to the requirements of an engagement, both current and future.
o Adapts solutions design to new requirements.
o Actively participates in generating an implementation plan with timelines for the solution.
o Creates appropriate test plan as required.
o Identifies challenges for the proposed project plan.
Notes:
o Onsite engineer will not be the 1st line of support for issues or problems in the server environment. Call logging procedure should go normally according to HP standard procedure. A call will be considered logged when it is entered into HP system and given a reference number.
o On-site engineer working hours will be according to Aramco office hours and not more than 40hrs/week for 6 months.
o Any task or responsibility not mentioned above is not part of the on-site engineer scope of work.
Skills
o Technical University or Bachelor’s degree.
o 3-5 year’s experience in networking, mainly on HP Network A & E Series.
o Holding HP ASE (Accredited System Engineer) certificate.
o Holding Associate level certificates from other network vendor like Cisco, or Juniper.
o Technical and solutions experience in networking industry.
o Basic experience in project management.
o Networking Portfolio professional knowledge.
o Demonstrates a professional knowledge of network solutions, including network Services.
o Demonstrates ability to work as a contributing team member for large complex projects.
o Has demonstrated hands-on level skills with some of the technology.
