Witness, monitor and check the installation of those major rotating
equipments which will include compressors, pumps and their drivers and
associated auxiliaries.
The major commissioning activities will cover:
1.1 Confirmation of alarms and trip set points
1.2 Conducting a functional check of auxiliary equipment/facilities
1.3 Running-in major rotary equipment in respect of OTP (Operating Test Procedures)
1.4 Check starting current and adjust MCC trip set up
1.5 Conducting trip checks, governor checks, safety device checks and other operating tests and adjustments in accordance with the requirements of applicable documents of dedicated machine
Assignment is on a work/leave cycle of 12 weeks on x 2 weeks off, 6 days a week, 10 hours per day.
A minimum of 10 years experience in commissioning, preferably in downstream, is required.
Commissioning methodology will be OPERCOM©; previous exposure/knowledge of this commissioning methodology will be an advantage.
Commissioning Supervisors will be fully integrated within the End User Commissioning team and shall in particular (but not limited to):
- witness and monitor Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning activities and ensure their right delivery in accordance to the agreed standards.
- be fully responsible to assure that all checks and tests are performed successfully (punch list cleared following EPCC contractual requirements)
- be responsible to raise punch items for each discipline and collect End User database for follow-up.
- monitor punch items in order to bring the subsystem to the completion stage
- provide the support during the Start-up activities which shall begin with the final preparation to the introduction of the feedstock into the plant
