This position is responsible for managing the technical and administrative functions of the Transportation department. This position is also responsible for coordinating the overall efforts of the department in creating, improving and sustaining an exemplary model for all Transportation services activities.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
? Models and promotes a culture of empathy, respect and “patients first” for all transportation services activities
? Participates in the development of transportation services operating and capital budgets
? Manages quality assurance and performance improvement activities within the Transportation department
? Establishes Fleet Operating and Safety Standards and Programs and monitors compliance
? Interprets and ensures compliance with all appropriate codes and standards
? Provides technical expertise on all matters related to transportation practices and technology
? Conducts training on transportation services procedures and practices
? Provides direct supervision of Transportation department team members

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
? Minimum of five to seven (5-7) years transportation management experience is required
? Minimum of three (3) years managerial/supervisory experience is required
? Knowledge of transportation practices and technologies
? Strong business skills to drive vehicle life cycle efficiencies in maintenance, repair and acquisition/disposal
? Demonstrated understanding of all regulatory requirements related to the field of transportation services
? Ability to work effectively and efficiently toward goals in a complex, diverse environment with changing demands
? Strong interpersonal skills
? Strong oral and written communication skills
? Ability to speak and write in English is required
? Ability to speak and write in both English and Arabic is preferred
? Health care industry experience is preferred
