Responsible for technical installation, administration, maintenance and support for IT Enterprise Systems and Services. He/She will participate on designing and implementing new projects in IT Enterprise area.  

Principal Accountabilities / Key Result Areas:
  • Provides technical advice and assistance involving the design of information and network systems  
  • Installs, maintains, and troubleshoot servers hardware and software
  • Identifies, troubleshoots, and resolves or corrects company wide servers problems in an effort to minimize systems downtime
  • Maintains and reviews system performance continuously in order to identify opportunities for systems enhancements and upgrades
  • Monitors the continuing performance of the servers’ hardware modules to ensure optimum operating status and to troubleshoot problems
  • Coordinates the implementation of servers’ hardware and software upgrades
  • Creates, maintains, and updates a variety of files, records, logs, and reports
  • Ensures servers and systems virus protection, and user accessibility to protect systems against unauthorized access or harmful virus attacks
  • Evaluates newly acquired software and hardware to ensure proper functioning according to EITC standards
  • Implements and maintains systems administration security as per company policies and procedures
  • Implements and manages software and hardware
  • Backup and recovery of servers data, resources, and equipment
  • Prepares and maintains documentation, technical reports, and provides follow up status on activities and tasks assigned
  • Works with other technical support specialists and team members to ensure optimum desktops and servers network environment performance, security, and availability
  • Servers monitoring, testing, performance, and management
  • Define and maintain servers network and security operations, assure prudent provisioning for EITC systems security
  • Create and manage users profiles, policies, and privileges
  • Conduct data and security auditing as per business needs, requirements, and approval
  • Write systems scripts to automate tasks, maintain systems environment, and generate reports
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Competencies:
  • University degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Information Technology or relevant domain
  • 5+ years experience and knowledge of related systems, applications, tools, and technologies
  • Solid experience with Active Directory, Email Systems, antivirus, backup, and servers disaster recovery
  • Solid experience with systems monitoring, testing, performance, and management
·         Solid experience working, supporting, and troubleshooting servers hardware and software
·         Solid experience supporting large scale servers network environments spread geographically
·         Fully capable of working with a variety of information technology systems topics
Qualification:
·         Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems
·         International Certifications (MCSE / MCP certification preferred)
Experience:
·         Solid experience maintaining and applying security policies and procedures
·         Solid experience in supporting, maintaining, and troubleshooting servers
