Successful candidates will have a Master’s Degree from an accredited institution in Business Management, Accounting, Human Resources, Finance or Commerce, Marketing, Tourism and Events Management, E-Business, or a related field. Qualified applicants must possess at least 3 years of teaching experience, preferably at a post-secondary level, plus 3 years of industry experience. The HCT seeks to employ staff with superior communication skills and a demonstrated sensitivity and awareness for other cultures.
As the largest Higher Education system in the United Arab Emirates, the Higher Colleges of Technology offers Foundation to Bachelor’s level programs to over 18,500 students at 16 colleges throughout the country. Responsibilities: Faculty members are responsible for providing instruction within a learner-centered environment in order to prepare students for a variety of business careers that will allow the next generation to positively contribute to the development of their country. All teachers work in a team-oriented environment using state-of-the-art education technology to enhance teaching and learning. We are looking for change-oriented, technologically-savvy Faculty members who can support our adoption of contemporary pedagogy as the HCT expands its content and deliver to four year Bachelor degree programs.
