Terminal degree (usually at doctorate level except for disciplines such as visual arts) in Business or relevant discipline.
Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience with an equivalent of 2 years at MBA level or relevant postgraduate discipline.
Expertise in their own subject area and the potential to expand their knowledge in order to teach a broad curriculum.
The ability to sustain an interest in and enthusiasm for their area of specialist research and to impart this to students and peers.
Evidence of published research and participation at professional conferences and seminars.
HCT is seeking an Executive MBA Faculty member who will be committed to deliver high quality teaching for the higher levels of undergraduate and graduate Business programs and related broader courses at lower levels of the Bachelor and Higher Diploma programs. He/She will be responsible of leading the college and division in research work in the relevant specialist field both at a basic research level and applied research as needed by the UAE industry and community. The incumbent will also be expected to play an active role in the maintenance of curriculum in this specialization to international academic standards and relevance.
