• B.Sc. in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent.
• Practical experience in multimedia presentation, graphic design, interface design and information architecture
• Experience in maintaining large scale website and content management system based online services
• Experience in conducting Training programs
• Strong customer service skills and sound Inter-personal skills
• Excellent conceptual and analytical problem-solving abilities and solid written and verbal communication skills.
• Practical experience in training would be an preferable
• At least 4 years of relevant experience.
• Address support and service requets related to the web services including the University website and portal within the scope of the unit
• Maintain the overall website architecture, templates, web design parameters, style guides and visual standards
• Work with various departments within the University to assist them in the creation or redesign of their web site.
• Provide technical and functional support on the web content management system
• Log and follow up support calls related to the unit through the appropriate channels and escalate problems to the Administrator as needed
• Develops and delivers workshops, training sessions, manuals, and guidelines for the website content contributors
• Recommend modifications to website design to improve usability and consistency
• Define requirements and coordinate to provide new templates and well designed top-level websites that promotes the University website presence
• Assist in the development of policies and procedures and ensure their implementation and enforcement
