What are my responsibilities?
· IC SG SE portfolio - Manage and supervise the preparation of all local tenders and with S'LLC UAE for the coordinated preparation of major tenders.
· Matches product and service offerings with customer needs, taking into account markets, objectives and strategies.
· Coordinate and participates in the Bid & LOA process.
· Develops, supports and executes best pricing strategy and campaigns
· Agree the bid strategy for all local tenders with the Management Team
· Development of winning-strategy and respective implementation into proposal process
· Agree the bid strategy for all other tenders with Management Team defining responsibilities for both the on-shore and offshore portions
· Supervise a team of tender engineers to prepare a fully technically defined risk-free tender in the event of the decision to bid
· With the support of the Procurement Department ensure all sub-contractor quotes are technically and contractually compliant
· Timely and complete provision of the requisite inputs for processing proposals and conducting the LoA process for accountable proposals to ensure high bid quality to entail minimum risk
· Develop the most cost effective estimate in collaboration with participating business units and third parties
· Support the LOA process in the compilation of transparent estimates, seek approval of relevant managers for their budgets
· Co-ordinate the pre & post tender clarification process ensuring all documentation is available for compilation into the final Contract Document.
· Provide input to the internal project kick-off meeting for the launch of the project in the event the bid is successful

· Provides input in the context of PMP/ Staff Dialog
What do I need to qualify for this job?
· Smart Grid, Smart Metering & Communication, Asset Management
· Experience and proven track record in generation of proposals, project management of T&D service projects; negotiating attitude with external customers, consultants, consortium partners
· Ability to manage and motivate people successfully. Has been in charge of project teams for at least 2 years (min 2 years ? 6 team members = direct reports in project)
· Strategic Planning for Business Development, Sales and Marketing & Market and Customer Requirements Analysis
· Market development and trends
· E Business Processes, E Relevant Market Knowledge, Relevant IT-applications
What do I need to know?
· Able to work effectively with individuals from multiple cultures and backgrounds.
· Sensitivity toward other culture/mentality in the respective regions
· Experience in foreign countries with frequent contacts to customers and international partners.
· Experience of living and working abroad
