Implement & monitor Health & safety management systems required to ensure full compliance with UAE health & safety regulations, as well as adherence to the ATS safety manual, associated with maintaining the on  Site construction activities.
    Review subcontractors HSE Plan / Site Procedures, and ensure adherence to the ATS safety manual, throughout the duration of onsite contract activities.
    Identify and advise key health & safety risks during the projects planning phase, and develop strategies for eliminating or minimizing their impact.
    Perform periodic safety audits on sites along with Safety Inspector / Charge hand to verify compliance/ system effectiveness and submit monthly safety reports to the Contracts Manager / Project Engineer.
    Prepare & implement HSE training plan & safety drill for all site staff including subcontractors, and give, or arrange for training, including HSE induction and awareness of new or revised procedures.
    Provide recommendations to the Project/ Contracts Manager, on improving HSE performance, raising HSE awareness, personnel training etc.
    Investigate and report all incidents, illnesses and injuries as may be required by ATS, with a view to establishing the root causes and making recommendations to prevent any recurrences.
    Ensure regulatory reports are completed accurately, reviewed thoroughly, and submitted on time after obtaining signed off from Project Manager.
    Training and induction of newly joined safety personnel and recommend any external training that may required by the Safety team.

Person Specification:
    Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
    2-3 years experience as an HSE Engineer.
    Excellent people management and communication skills.
    Attention to details.
