The P & ID Engineer is responsible for utilizing Intergraph Smart Plant P&ID to produce piping and instrumentation diagrams, valve list and line list. o Strong fundamental knowledge of process and instrumentation diagrams. o Develop and maintain P&IDs, Valve Lists and Line Lists using Intergraph Smart Plant P&ID software. o Drafting and checking P&ID drawings from redlines according to CAD standards with complete accuracy. Must be able to work independently with little supervision required. o Performing all admin functions for Smart Plant P&ID , including using all manager programs, generating reports from Smart Plant P&ID. o Maintaining and developing instructions / standards for other designers to use to ensure accuracy and consistency of drawings and reports. o Coaching and mentoring other designers with less SPPID experience. o Team leadership. Knowledge of other Smart Plant sweet applications that interface with SPPID such as SPI (Intools).

Profile Design Engineering and/or IT background with progressive, applicable experience supporting P&ID development on Process Engineering projects. Successful completion of the Smart Plant P&ID Administrator training courses provided by Intergraph. Excellent understanding of setting up and supporting Smart Plant P&ID projects and associated systems, understanding of setting up and configuring application and license servers would be preferred. Good understanding of Smart Plant P&ID Customization techniques using the Automation Layer would be beneficial. Knowledge of Smart Plant suite applications that interface with Smart Plant P&ID would be advantageous. Knowledge of other Intergraph, AVEVA, Bentley and AutoCAD based products would be advantageous but not essential. Smart Plant P&ID administration and configuration experience is mandatory. Experienced with Smart Plant P&ID drafting and conventional cadding such as Microstation and AutoCADD. Project coordination, internal quality check for SPPID. Must be extremely detail oriented, be able to meet deadlines, as well as take and provide both written and oral instruction. Degree qualified in Engineering or IT related discipline is preferred however sufficient experience may replace academic qualifications.
