The RWE Dea with its Head Office in Hamburg/Germany is an international Oil & Gas company, having one of its core areas in North Africa. For our branch office in Tripoli we are looking for a qualified and motivated Cost Controller. Ideally the desired candidate will have at least 5 years experience in finance and accounting functions which he/she has gained through working in an active E&P operation of an international company.
 
The candidate will be responsible for:
- Controlling all incoming invoices for drilling activities for correct bookkeeping, coding and allocation per activity and concession
- Controlling all warehouse movements, material transfers, issues and returns in regards to correct coding to well locations
- Budget cost control and comparing actual vs. budget
- preparing reconciliations and analysis for all costs related to wells
- All regular financial month end and year end budget reporting to the management of RWE Dea Libya Branch
 
Preferably our candidate will have:
- Bachelor degree in accounting, finance, economics or similar
- Knowledge of SAP (SAP/R3 , Modules FI, CO, PS and MM)
- The ability to work in multicultural environments
- Libyan nationality
- PC skills
- and will be an enterprising, proactive and results oriented person, who is used to work as part of a team and will be willing to travel
