Uses GIS, ARC, and SDE to design, implement and maintain information system including data base design.

·          Develops and maintains GIS database guidelines and procedure for use in the PWA projects and Public Services as directed.

·        Considers developing computer interfacing, data conversion, and Computer applications using GIS, ARC, and SDE.

·        Contributes to conduct complex analysis using GIS, ARC and SDE in a variety of projects ranging from network analysis to Address Matching for trouble calls.

·        Advises to design a variety of databases using data modelling techniques.

·        Contributes, as directed, to provide specifications for software and hardware to facilitate the need of the Public Services regarding his area of work.

·        Coordinates, as instructed, directly with all Government Departments to develop and maintain specific GIS data and analysis.

·        Participates, if required, to integrate multifaceted operations like transportation modelling, pavement management, storm, water modelling, sidewalk safety/ADA data assessment….etc.

·        Contributes to design, develop and maintain the database and geographical data needed to calculate an support the impervious area values/records for all properties designed/implemented by PWA.

·        Provides training/development to subordinates, with emphasis to Qatari National, and monitors their progress.

·        Bears the responsibility to cater for Health, Safety & Environment (HS&E) aspects and requirements as per approved policy & procedure.

·        Performs other related duties/assignment as directed.
