      Familiarity with Workgroup applications such as Microsoft Office , particularly Excel , Access and word.

·         Must be proficient in CISCO IP Phone ,Network Protocols including Frame-Relay, MPLS, TCP\IP and wiring systems (fiber\copper).

·         Experience with Cisco routers and switches

·         Knowledge of data cabling standards (Cat5E\6, fiber),network analysis and problem-solving techniques

·         Thorough knowledge of TCP\IP , SMTP, SNMP, SNTP

·         Experience with installation and maintenance of UTP Ethernet  cabling

·         Experience with installation and maintenance of   Communication equipment

·         Must have good written and verbal communications skills

·         Understanding of network principles , operation and routing protocols

·         Should Possess computer operation skills

·         Experience with PABX and telephone block wiring

·         Comprehensive Knowledge of the equipment , infrastructure, transport protocols and network architecture used  by the ASHGAL

·         Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.

  • Installs Provides hands-on assistance and troubleshoots all phone equipment failures and service issues for all Ashghal sites (Headquarters and remote sites).
  •  Provides training and technical assistance to users on usage of communication equipment (Cisco IP Phone and Fax machines
  • Places and evaluates communication equipment orders , coordinates and oversees all phone work orders.
  •  Operates call detail recording for all telephone extensions within Ashghal departments and ensuring that phone bills are accurate .
  • Audits , sorts and distributes monthly Call Detail reports which are then sent to Accounting for posting of phone charges to all departments .
  • Verifies and makes changes to cost allocation reports which are then sent to Accounting for posting of phone charges to all departments.
  •   Generates a monthly report for all phone work performed by vendors and new equipment    installations .
  •  Verifies , organizes and sorts deliveries of computer and telecommunication equipment ordered throughout Ashghal sites.
  •  Provides assistance to Ashghal users regarding delivery of equipment
  •  Ensures that procedures are followed to track inventory throughout the Ashghal sites; researches and accounts for any missing items.
  •   Perform routine equipment maintenance : inspecting ,cleaning , testing , repair and  replacement
  • Maintain Telecommunications inventory
  •  Provide user training on Cisco IP phone equipment when necessary
  • Read and understand room layouts , schematics and blueprints Coordinates installation and develop ,verifies , validates , and deploys voice\ data telecommunication solutions
  • Coordinates the installation of highly complex voice and video telecommunications equipment and peripheral devices
  • Integrates, installs and tests complex telecommunications systems in accordance with applicable standards
  •  Provides technical support for a wide variety of telecommunication system to meet business needs.
  • Performs highly complex hardware and software configuration and setup, voice and video components
  •  Documents problems and\or other topics to matters of significance , end user configurations , change requests , and other topics to ensure appropriate response
  • Installs , moves , and modifies telecommunications and related equipment according to job order specifications ,standards , and procedures
  •   Diagnoses equipment malfunctions. Repairs voice and data equipment

Pre-Requisites

·        3+years network\telecommunications experience required which should include experience with Cisco Products.

·        Bachelors Degree in telecommunications or related field. (Minimum 15years of education is required)

·        Distance learning education is not accepted.

·        Cisco Certified Network Associate –CCNA

·        IP Telephony or Structured cabling Certification will be a plus

·        Microsoft certifications are not necessary

·        If Applicant has a proven MNC (Multinational Company) experience and dose not hold any Certifications , than in such case  candidate is accepted
