  • Ensures the effective execution of work objectives in order to ensure the highest levels of performance are achieved.
  • Monitors and records training activities and programs effectiveness for training delivered in own area for designated regions as well as keeps track of the training costs and participates in preparing reports to justify expenditures.
  • Prepares and coordinates all training sessions using a defined schedule.
  • Conducts assessment of training needs under the consultation of the Training Head and HR Manager.
  • Provides feedback on training needs to the Organizational Development Manager.
  • Contributes to the development and/or implementation of functional and/or corporate projects in order to support the ongoing development of training and standards for the retail division.
  • Develops and maintains good working relationships with internal and external customers (suppliers and agencies) to ensure prompt resolution of issues.
  • Designs training courses in coordination with the Education team and Organizational Development Manager.
  • Administers, develops and assists store managers and assistant managers with regards to competency processes (performance management, competency-based interviewing, development planning and succession planning.
  • Delivers retail training courses in line with Azadea's guidelines as well as soft and managerial skills training courses to stores.
  • Performs assessments of retail store staff for development purposes and recommend personal development options.
  • Follow-up and measurement of contribution of training to specific store indicators.
  • Raise awareness of Brands among store staff including relevant aspects of marketing and shopper psychology.
  • Assists his/her direct manager in implementing the performance appraisal system.

The Senior Training Specialist provides a professional training service within general policies and professional standards, in order to support the effective provision of high quality training services in the relevant country of operations, in line with the Organizational Development departmental strategies.

Qualifications and Experience:
  •  
    • University degree in Psychology, Human Resources or Business Administration.
    • A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar field.
    • Training retail experience is a plus.
    • Well developed professional HR knowledge and expertise in own area.
    • Good facilitation and training skills for different size of group attendees.
    • Fluent in written and spoken English.
    • Strong communication skills.
    • Computer knowledge.
