Responsibilities |
Mission::Ensure the consistent supply of high quality bottles by operating and monitoring the SIPA machine to maximize its performance in accordance with the SOP. Duties and Responsibilities Daily Visually inspect for wear on all movable parts on Sipa as well as Auxiliaries (i.e. Siad, Chiller, Cooling Tower, Dryer) Prior to daily start up of Sipa machine, verify that the compressor has pressure. Prior to daily start up of the Sipa Machine, verify the cooling tower has water and no leaks. Prior to making bottles verify that all parameters and settings on the Sipa machine are at the correct levels to produce. Repair / Replace worn or damaged parts on Sipa as well as Auxiliaries. Coordinate parts used or needed with Maintenance Manager to order replacements as soon as possible. Ensure all Maintenance, Cleanings and Parameter Changes are properly documented Must follow FDA , Military and AMD rules and regulations; Must follow GMP, and Standard Operating Procedures ( SOPs) of the Filler Must follow the Safety procedures as set down in the manufacturer's manual for the Filler. Must follow the QA department's direction on quality issues Must be able to read and understand the Filler manual and Safety Procedures. Ensure Sipa is running at consistent cycle times and within all production parameters as well as for all Auxiliaries Ensure that Periodic Bottle Quality Checks are performed and properly documented Supervise the Junior Sipa Technician. Inform Shift Supervisor of any QA or production concerns Weekly Coordinate and perform Scheduled Weekly Preventative Maintenance for Sipa as well as Auxiliaries according to appropriate Equipment Manuals and SOP Ensure all Preventative Maintenance is properly documented Monthly Coordinate and Perform Scheduled Monthly Preventative Maintenance for Sipa as well as Auxiliaries according to appropriate Equipment Manuals and SOP Ensure all Preventative Maintenance is properly documented General Conduct Training in Proper Procedures, Process Theory, and Safety Topic Training with Jr. Sipa Techs Coordinate with Maintenance Manager to ensure all parts required for Scheduled PM's are ordered and received well before the actions are to be performed Report any violation of the SOP or Health and Safety procedures to management immediately. Do not leave the Sipa without the permission of the Shift Supervisor. Perform other duties as directed by Management. To attend all Health & Safety meetings To attend all Staff meetings. |
