1. Develop a functional design of proposed project through collection of information and data required to study the proposed project to satisfy actual needs of the end user.
2. Carry out project feasible studies to advise the Manager.
3. Prepare and develop a conceptual design of the proposed project to meet the requirements of the end user including cost estimates.
4. Prepare the tender documents that include scope of work, drawings, technical specifications and bill of quantities for contractors to understand the project better.
5. Undertake tender pre-qualification and analyze tenders for evaluation in order to recommend suitable tender. Also contribute towards tendering negotiations to award the contract.
6. Supervise implementattion of contract design, construction or surveying services up to project hand over.

A focused nimble and growing specialist engineering company requires a project engineer for cathodic protection contracts. The position requires all the elements of a project engineer in terms of management, design, procurement & timely completion of projects plus all other documentation required for the project. Training will be provided.

Minimum 10 years experience in construction, working with Civil Engineering Contractors and 3 years as Planning Engineer on large Construction projects using latest version of Primavera.
Experience in civil works related to large scale industrial projects such as Cement factory, Power plant, Gas projects, Refinery.

Prepare & follow-up technical submittals for material procurement,
Verify quantities & request bids from suppliers
Prepare comparative statement of bids received
Able to negotiate with suppliers
Able to initiate purchase order terms & conditions for suppliers and enforce it.
Keep proper Project documentation.

Diploma -technical school graduate with Five years experience in Similar post. (Practical 15 years experience in similar post could be acceptable alternative)
Previous experience in similar trade mainly related to large industrial projects.
Able to read and implement engineering details as per drawings.
Full knowledge of required trade activities.
Knowledge of Material requirement and capable of working out material quantities.
